Homeowner questions

Answers before you book.

How much does attic insulation cost in Canada?

For most single-family homes, a top-up to R-60 with air sealing lands between $1,800 and $4,500 before rebates. Removal, complex framing, or commercial roofs price separately. Every quote is itemised — you see the air-sealing, insulation, ventilation, and disposal lines individually.

Do I qualify for the Canada Greener Homes rebate?

Attic insulation is a covered measure when installed to program requirements with pre- and post-retrofit energy documentation. We coordinate with a registered energy advisor and handle the submission paperwork so you actually receive the rebate.

Will you try to sell me removal I don't need?

No. Removal is only recommended for rodent contamination, smoke odour, moisture damage, or when framing repairs require it. If a top-up will solve the problem, we quote a top-up.

What R-value should my attic be at?

Current best-practice for most of Canada is R-50 to R-60. Below R-40 you'll usually feel it in comfort and heating bills, and you're likely leaving rebate money on the table.

How fast can you book?

Assessments typically within 3–7 days in Calgary and the GTA. Installs 1–3 weeks depending on scope and season. Winter emergency ice-dam work gets prioritised.

What areas do you serve?
